Eco Beach Resort Broome is just over an hour’s drive from Broome town – you can either hire a car or arrange shuttle bus of private 4WD transfers. There are 15 kilometres of sunning beach and coastline to explore, as well as eco-based activities such as yoga, massage, bird watching, coastal walks, whale watching (July to September) and turtle monitoring (November – January). Relax in the oceanfront Jack’s Bar and laze around the infinity pool.

While you’re there

Accommodation is either an eco-tent or eco-villa. The eco-tents have king size beds and ensuite bathrooms, with a balcony and zip up/down windows to control the breeze. They are powered mainly for lighting purposes, but there are no TV’s or fridges or tea/coffee facilities in the room. The eco-villas have air-conditioning, hot water, an open plan living area and a small kitchenette with a small fridge and microwave. Jacks Bar and Restaurant is the only food outlet, but there is a BBQ buffet on twice a week and you can also arrange a private beach dinner. They also serve bar snacks in the afternoon and offer a kids menu.

A few things to look out for

The eco-tents do not have hot water and although you do get an eski to keep some snacks and drinks in, you will have to buy ice from the resort to keep your things cool.
