Hotel Description
A superior 4 ½ star hotel at Voyages Ayers Rock Resort, Desert Gardens Hotel is set amongst magnificent ghost gums and flowering native shrubs. Each of the 218 rooms of the Desert Gardens features the unique flora of the Central Australian Desert. Centrally located to all resort and touring facilities, the hotel offers a range of stylish accommodation, from shaded poolside rooms to superb deluxe rooms.
With over 65 tours, local activities and attractions within the Resort and the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, your days will be action-packed. Take a helicopter tour for a bird’s eye view of the breathtaking central desert landscape. Ride a camel across the dunes to watch sunrise or sunset, or hop on a Harley for a burn around Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). Hike through the Valley of the Winds or embark on a base walk of Uluru to discover its living landscapes.
You can relax in the comfort of your own private balcony or courtyard, or unwind in the hotel's refreshing pool, sipping cocktails from the Bunya bar.
It's only a short stroll to Desert Gardens' numerous lookouts, where you can view what is arguably Australia's best sunset, with the spectacular play of colours across the face of Uluru and the surrounding desert.
Once the sun has gone down, dine at White Gums Restaurant and savour Australian native delicacies, or feast on the flavours of the a la carte Arnguli Grill.
